This client wanted something clean and simple with a nod towards the bespoke nature of the pieces. The room was also quite dark so she opted for a light-coloured timber to ‘lift’ the room. The hand-carved details are subtle and organically spread across the works to avoid looking prescribed and to highlight the maker’s hand behind the work.
